Following a comprehensive test of the software quality, our Studo App was awarded the TÜV SÜD software test mark. The Studo App is certified in the areas of usability and functionality according to ISO IEC 25051. In addition, TÜV SÜD certifies that the acknowledged requirements for data protection and data security are met (basis Articles 25 and 32 GDPR and the IT basic protection compendium of the BSI). In 2020 and 2021, the Studo App was chosen by the editors of "Apps" magazine as one of the best apps in the DACH region. As the winner in the category "Student App", Studo "provides valuable services in organising studies and helps to simplify everyday study".

The Studo app is based on MOCS technology (Mobile Optimised Campus Services) a generic mobile framework for different use-cases inspired by the European UnionOpen Data Project.
